SIZE of finished toy: 9.5" (24 cm) in seated position and 11.5" (29 cm) tall

MATERIALS:

• crochet hook - 2.5 mm (size C)
• cotton yarn:

brown - 50g/160 m (175 yards)
ivory - 20g /64m (70 yards)
dark brown - 10g/ 32m (35 yards)
small amount of black yarn for embroidering

• polyfill to stuff
• a pair of 16mm (0.62") brown safety eyes
• tapestry needle
• stichmarker and pins

Because this is a pattern for a stuffed animal, gauge is not really important. You can use any weight yarn, if you make sure that your hook is appropriately sized for your yarn, so that you get a nice, solid fabric. Using a different size hook and yarn weight will change the size of your finished project.
